Dr. QuinnThomas G. Quinn, OD, MS, FAAO

Dr. Thomas Quinn is a graduate of the Ohio State University’s specialized postgraduate contact lens program. Through his advanced expertise, our office serves as an investigational site for many contact lenses related studies. Dr. Tom was one of the original FDA investigators for Corneal Refractive Therapy. Dr. Tom is also a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Diplomate of the Cornea and Contact Lens Section. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and currently serves on it’s Cornea and Contact Lens Section Council.

Dr. Tom serves on the Advisory Board of the Rigid Gas Permeable Lens Institute and was honored with its national 2001 RGP Lens Practitioner of the Year Award. He is a contributing editor for Contact Lens Spectrum, the nations leading contact lens magazine, and is a well-known lecturer in the areas of contact lenses and corneal physiology.


Dr. SusanSusan G. Quinn, OD, FAAO

Dr. Susan Quinn is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She brings to the practice expertise in vision rehabilitation and is one of only a few in the state of Ohio to provide comprehensive vision services for the partially sighted.

Dr. Susan has served as a clinical instructor at The Ohio State University Vision Rehabilitation Clinic and lectured to the public and optometric audience about low vision for over twenty years. She is a charter member of the American Optometric Association’s Low Vision Section and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Susan has served both as member and president of the Ohio State Board of Optometry, the governing body for the optometric profession in the state of Ohio. Dr. Quinn was awarded the Ohio Optometric Association’s Special Merit Award and the Ohio State Optometric Association Optometrist of the Year Award for her efforts on behalf of eyecare for all Ohioans.


Shane Foster, OD                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

Dr. Shane Foster is an Athens County native who joined the practice in 2008 and became a partner in the practice in 2012. Dr. Foster graduated cum laude from the Ohio State University College of Optometry. He also attended Ohio University where he received a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a B.A. in Spanish.

Dr. Foster sees patients of all ages with various ocular conditions. He is experienced in fitting specialty contact lenses for patients with corneal diseases, corneal scarring, or prior corneal surgeries. He also has an interest in pediatric optometry and the role children’s vision plays in learning.

Dr. Foster is a member of the American Optometric Association and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Optometric Association. He is the current President of the Ohio Optometric Foundation, which provides charitable eye care to children all across the state. Dr. Foster is also a member of the Ohio University Credit Union Board of Directors.


Robyn Pape, OD

Pape HeadshotDr. Robyn Pape earned a degree in zoological sciences in 1995 from Ohio University. In 1999, she graduated cum laude from The Ohio State College of Optometry. Her extern rotation was completed at Chillicothe Veterans Hospital, with an emphasis in diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Pape offers this service to her patients as well as full scope eye care for all members of the family. She also participates in the InfantSEE program, which provides eyecare to infants less than 12 months of age, and Vision USA, a service that donates vision care to those unable to afford it. Dr. Pape is a member of both the Ohio and American Optometric


Rachel LeFebvre, OD

Dr. Rachel LeFebvre is a two-time graduate of the Ohio State University. She received her B.S. in Biology in 2007 and her Optometry Doctorate in 2011. Upon graduation, she furthered her education and completed an ocular disease residency through the Chillicothe and Columbus Veterans Affairs systems. She is currently a member of thDr. Pice American Optometric Association and Ohio Optometric Association. Dr. LeFebvre, alongside her husband and their two dogs are looking forward to becoming active members of the Athens community.  She is excited to be back in southeastern Ohio, near where she grew up.Dr. LeFebvre is accepting new and returning patients for comprehensive eye care, including diabetic eye exams, contact lens fitting, and management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration.
